Geralt met him in 1272 when he was searching for Yennefer in the area and a dwarven blacksmith, Willis, whose workshop has just been burnt down, asked him to find the arsonist who turned out to be Napp. His reason for burning down Willis's workshop is due to Napp's distaste towards non-humans, and the arson was likely an exaggerated act fulled by his drunkenness. Depending on how the conversation proceeds, Geralt can end up in a fistfight with Napp.
