The Ministry of Magic is the wizards' government. They have their offices in London, somehwere underground. Visitors can reach the Ministry through a red phone box. There are seven departments; each department has several sub-departments. For instance, the Department of Magical Law Enforcment has the Auror Office as a sub-department.
