The JBM27 is based on the RGA series. It was introduced in 2016 as seven-string variant of the JBM20 which itself is a mass-market version of Bowen's Prestige JBM100. The JBM27 features a mahogany body with a maple top bolted to a maple neck with a reversed headstock and a 24-fret bound rosewood fingerboard with a special moon inlay at the 12th fret. Components include dual DiMarzio custom humbucking pickups, an Edge Zero II double locking tremolo bridge, a locking nut and locking Gotoh tuning machines.
