Wake Island, by 2144, had become a cold, snow-covered island compared to its previous tropical state due to the progression of the Ice Age southwards. It is likely that all of the former PAC residents living on Wake would have left for the warmer south lands of Asia before the EU initial invasion. The canon outcome of the battle is not known, and there is little evidence from other events in The Cold War to suggest which side came out victorious.
