West Monroe is an unincorporated community and census-designated place in Monroe County, Michigan. The community is a part of Monroe Charter Township on the south banks of the River Raisin. The community borders Monroe proper and is located about three miles southwest of downtown. The population was 3,893 during the 2000 census.
