After the Kongs deactivated the Blast-O-Matic in Hideout Helm, K. Rool was able to escape in the King Kruiser II as a getaway vehicle. However, after takeoff, it was almost shortly after knocked down onto the ground by K. Lumsy, who had been playfully chasing it around Donkey Kong Island. The Kongs then went into what's left of the King Kruiser II for a final showdown in K. Rool, which takes place in a giant boxing ring.
