Will Cirrus was a human born in the 22nd Century. In the mid-22nd Century he and his wife Mariah volunteered for a long duration deep space flight in cryonic freeze aboard the USS Copernicus. They agreed to do so after working out some marital problems, hoping a new future would help them bury their old problems. Will was killed when a Soldier of Darkness boarded the ship sometime around the year 2247 and used him to feed itself after setting a course for The Rim.
