Geary first appeared in the Fox River bus where he was angry that Gus Fiorello was back at Fox River. Geary called him a dumbass. Geary said to Michael Scofield that he should say "Yes sir" to Geary. Michael said it and asked Tom Paxton to do exactly the same. Tom didn't so, which made Geary angry. Geary then was seen with six other Correction Officers (Harris, Moore etc.) who brought Michael, Paxton and another inmate to their cells.
