The Electro Spinner (スパナ Spana?), also known as the E-16 Electro Spinner[citation needed] and Thunder Spinner, is a recurring enemy in the Sonic the Hedgehog series which first appeared in Sonic Adventure. They are a model of Badniks in the E-Series line created by Dr. Eggman and a variant of the E-06 Bladed Spinner. These robots can both fly and discharge an electrical shield to protect themselves.
