Vazga was a female of an undetermined humanoid species who, in 2376, was a member of the group Taru Bolivar on planet Phantas 61. She was second-in-command and close friend to group leader Elless, and distinguished by her buzz-cut hairstyle, inspiring Lieutenant Commander Domenica Corsi to give her the nickname "Buzz-cut". Vazga was one of the pilots who manned a fleet of Phantasian runners in order to deflect a missile armed with a powerful biological weapon from its target on Phantas 61. Vazga's craft broke apart and crash-landed during the operation. She was later retrieved by the USS da Vinci and treated by Doctor Elizabeth Lense, then returned to Phantas 61 for further recovery.
