Diane Marie Disney (December 18, 1933 - November 19, 2013) was the only biological child of Walt and Lillian Disney. She had, however, an adopted sister, Sharon Mae Disney, who was three years younger and died in 1993. Diane was a noted philanthropist. From her father's death until her own, she donated nearly five million dollars to various charities within the United States and devoted herself to preserving his legacy. Diane died on November 19, 2013, one month shy of her 80th birthday, at her home in Napa, California, after succumbing to injuries from a fall she suffered in September.
