The Big Dipper is a large two-track viaduct made of stone. Diesel 10 fell into the river below after failing to jump the gap when in pursuit of Thomas and Lady. Thomas helped destroy The Big Dipper by weighing down the bridge pieces. It is unknown if it was repaired afterwards.
