The Utrominator is a character that appears in the 2003 TV series episode "Same As It Never Was" and Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Smash-Up. The Utrominator's exo-suit is what was given to the Utroms when Ch'rell enslaved them in "Same as it Never Was". Many people think that the Smash Up character was just based on that, but the developers from Mirage Studios that were working on the game included this character to squeeze in Krang (because of the similarities and a lot of Krang fans don't even know what an Utrom is). The Utrominator's exo-suit is similar to the one seen in "Same As It Never Was", with small differences such as a lack of wings.
