The DSS-02 Theater Shield is the unit used by the Rebel Alliance on Hoth to protect their base. Theater shields are generally high-durability low-radius units, and the DSS-02 is no exception. The squat unit can protect an area up to 50 square kilometers, although low kinetic-energy units (such as armored vehicles and walkers) can penetrate the perimeter with little trouble.
