The AEK-919K Kashtan is a Russian select-fire submachine gun, chambered for the 9x19mm Parabellum and 9x18mm Makarov rounds, developed by the Kovrov Mechanical Plant. The AEK-919 is offered as a weapon for certain categories of personnel (crews of aircraft and combat vehicles), as well as special forces of law enforcement agencies.
