He became leader of the 19th Division of the Leubantian Army in 1935, and shifted his ideologies to communism during that year. He joined the Leubantian Communist Party and soon became a high-ranking official by the start of World War II. Jeuger was the first Leubantian general to embrace communism and stop fighting against the Soviet Union. He converted to Atheism in 1953, and became President of Leubantia in a coup d'état in 1956. He ordered the assassination of Hans Sikaw in 1965, who preceded him as President.
