Adam Rex is an author and illustrator of children's literature. He is known for books of poetry such as Frankenstein Makes a Sandwich as well as Frankstein Takes the Cake. His novel, The True Meaning of Smekday, was adapted by the animation studio Dreamworks as the CGI-animated feature film Home. Rex is the author and illustrator of the upcoming Star Wars title Are You Scared, Darth Vader?, slated for publication on July 31, 2018.
