Farius Prime was a Class M planet in the Alpha Quadrant. It was also the homeworld of the Farians. The planet was neutral and had a Klingon embassy. It was also a hub of activity for the Orion Syndicate. (DS9: "Honor Among Thieves") Given its proximity to the Cardassian Union and the Demilitarized Zone, the planet also became a gathering place for the Maquis.
