Interpreter Smurf is a Smurf of arguable canonicity, as he doesn't appear in the Smurfs comic series, but instead he appears in a mini-story of the franco-belgian comic series Les Petits Hommes where they meet the Smurfs. Jokey Smurf looks after him to communicate because he is the only one, besides Papa Smurf, who speaks the human language.
