Abel LaSal was an individual who served as a Commander in the naval forces of the Galactic Empire. Around five years after the Empire's foundation, LaSal was deployed aboard the Imperial-class Star Destroyer Sovereign. While that vessel was docked at Fondor, someone usurped the commander's identity by using forged code cylinder and officer's disk.
