A Teachers Strike is a situation where a nation's public school teachers begin refusing to work, angering Parents and causing the Literacy rate to fall. The main cause of teachers strikes are poorly funded State Schools, though Labour Laws which favor employees can encourage union action too. Increased funding for public schools will help discourage strikers, as will high University Grants. High rates of Unemployment also can also discourage strikes.
