Ernie Sims III (born December 23, 1984) is an American football linebacker for the Dallas Cowboys of the National Football League. He was drafted by the Detroit Lions in the first round of the 2006 NFL Draft. After a heralded high school career, he played college football at Florida State. Sims has also played for the Philadelphia Eagles and the Indianapolis Colts.
