In 2007 , Woods replaced Leanna Morrow as author of the Deep Space Nine relaunch series novel Fearful Symmetry. That novel, her first Star Trek contribution, was released in June 2008 , with the direct follow-up, The Soul Key, being released in July 2009 . Woods currently resides in New York State with her family.
