Belyn Kumar is the father of Jaylin Kumar. He served the Naboo Royal Security Force during the Clone Wars, and was a close friend of Faarel Blackthorne. It was Belyn and a specialist team of RSF covert operatives that had successfully changed the Blackthorne history in the archives, so that Faarel and his family could live in peace. However, the alteration was eventually discovered, and the Empire attempted to assassinate Faarel's life, nearly succeeding. Belyn later went on to serve the Rebellion, where he died in service during the earlier years of the Civil War.
