This paperback collects two Batman stories set in the first year of two classic villiains, Scarecrow and Two-Face. The two stories were originally published as their own two-part mini-series. The first story, Year One: Batman/Scarecrow, was written by Zach Howard and illustrated by Bruce Jones and Sean Murphy. It was published in July and August, 2005. The second story, Two-Face: Year One, was written by Mark Sable and illustrated by Jesus Saiz, Jeremy Haun, Jimmy Palmiotti and Chris Chuckry. This story was first published in September to October, 2008.
