Dr. Juliana De Matteo is a cardiologist and Dr. Richard Nelson's protégé. Despite being a cardiologist and a protégé of Dr. Nelson, De Matteo had not yet received tenure. However she presented Dr. Nelson with his Professor Emeritus and seemed genuinely happy for him. She also knew his daughter Molly Nelson.
