Sara Carson was a Starfleet officer who served aboard the USS Defiant and the USS Lambda Paz in the late 24th century. She was aboard the Defiant in 2372 as a Flight controller during a trade arrangement with the Karemma. Following a Jem'Hadar attack, she left the bridge to find a medic to tend to Captain Benjamin Sisko, who had suffered a concussion and internal bleeding. (DS9: "Starship Down") Ensign Carson was identified by surname only and played by Sara Mornell in this episode.
