Maternity Leave is a policy where the government grants pregnant women and parents with newborn children the right to take months of paid vacation time off from their jobs to either see the pregnancy come to term or to care for their new children. Maternity leave is naturally favored by Parents but it can cut into the nation's Productivity due to the loss of workers.
