- Furnaces are furniture items with a base weight of 45.8s. Its base sale price is 440gp. There is another furniture item called a furnance[] that is significantly more valuable. File:Placeholder
- Furnaces are Blocks that were added in Update 0.3.2. They can be used to smelt Items and cook Food, and require Fuel to use.
- Furnaces play an essential role in the Smithing skill. They are used to smelt metal bars out of ores. Using ore on the furnace creates corresponding metal bars which are then used to create armour and weapons by using the metal bars on an anvil. Furnaces can also be used in the crafting skill to make jewellery by using either a gold or silver bar on them with a mould and an optional cut gem and in the player's inventory.
- The Furnace is an area of Upper Blackrock Spire. Is is accessed from the hallways beyond the Blackrock Stadium, opposite the entrance to Blackwing Lair. The Furnace holds several groups of orcs and dragonspawn, but its most significant occupant is the Beast, a core hound used as a pet by General Drakkisath, who can be found in the Spire Throne just across a bridge.
- Furnaces are technical blocks in Minecraft that can be used for cooking foods and smelting ores.
- Furnace is a rare base item.
- The Furnace was located in the City of Brass.
- The furnace/forge combination is required for forging: a method for producing arrowheads, improvised knives, and improvised hatchets.
- The Furnace is a ranged weapon that can be obtained by chests or buying it at the shop. It has the ability of making enemies burn for 2 seconds on critic hits.
- The Furnace is used in the smelting of items. It must be provided with a fuel, upon which it will smelt whichever smeltable item put in it into a new item.
- The Dragaeran name for the sun. It is usually not visible within the Dragaeran Empire, due to the presence of the Enclouding. It can sometimes be seen from the higher elevations of Dzur Mountain. See also Meta:Furnace.
- Players can also craft silver bars into holy symbols, tiaras, unholy symbols, or lightning rods depending on their Crafting level and the mould they have in their inventory. Players may also make molten glass by smelting soda ash and a bucket of sand. Players with Level 43 Magic may choose to use Superheat Item instead of furnaces for smelting, earning both Magic and Smithing experience, although this will prove costly as it requires 1 nature rune and 4 fire runes per bar. Superheat Item does not work for jewellery or melting glass.
- The furnace is a large circular room located within the Ruined City. There is a gas mechanism in the centre which can be turned on either by using the constrict ability or by opening a valve. Raziel first enters the room from a tunnel above and has to activate the furnace in order to burn down the metal doors in the room in order to proceed. Later, Raziel lures Dumah into the furnace and activating it burns Dumah to ashes.
- "Furnace", located in Frimley, is the fifth level of the My Pet Dungeon series in Dungeon Keeper 2. It contains four Portals, two Gem Seams, and at least three magical items, as well as two neutral Skeletons.
- A furnace is an object in the game usable by the player for Smithing and Crafting purposes. With the furnace, you can smelt ores into bars. For Crafting, with the use of gold bars, you can create jewelry (rings, amulets, necklaces).
- The Furnace is the miniboss of the Engine Room in Raider Zero.
- The Furnace is one of the primary resource buildings of Isengard. The Furnace's efficiency smelting metal for weapons and armor allows it to reduce the cost of unit upgrades from the Armory, but only once it reaches level 3.
- The Furnace is the first crafting station to allow the player to smelt ores. It works on all prehardmode ores except Hellstone. It is the first tier of Furnace crafting stations, the second tier being the Hellforge (Furnace) and the third tier is the Adamantite Forge/Titanium Forge.
- Furnace is a Premium Thunderpede that appeared in Dragons: Rise of Berk as one of Gobber's dragons.
- This section reserved for discussion pertaining to operational issues of the Furnace.
- A furnace was a device that produced enough heat energy to give a building warmth. In 1930, Spock was fixing the furnace at the Twenty-First Street Mission. When he informed James T. Kirk that he was going to finish doing so, Edith Keeler noticed that the Vulcan always seemed to be calling Kirk "Captain", even when he didn't say the word. (TOS: "The City on the Edge of Forever " )
- Furnace was an inhabitable planet in the Lovat System. (HH11)
- Furnaces are used to craft golden objects. To make golden objects, drag gold from your inventory to the furnace, then select the gold thing you want to craft. Furnaces are crafted with stone in the build menu. Gold can be dragged to a furnace to create necklaces, coins, and keys. Furnaces can be destroyed in one hit by a sledgehammer, and can be painted on.
- There are several reasons to buy a furnace: 1.
* first and most importantly, safety issues a faulty furnace can be a fire hazard or put out carbon monoxide, which can be deadly 2.
* you don't have one yet and need one (for example in a new house) 3.
* the old one is irreparably broken 4.
* the old one is inefficient and won't last much longer In the U.S. the purchase price usually includes the labor, parts and materials, installation, some warranty as well as the equipment.

- In American English, the term furnace on its own is generally used to describe household heating systems based on a central furnace (known either as a boiler or a heater in British English), and sometimes as a synonym for kiln, a device used in the production of ceramics. In British English the term furnace is used exclusively to mean industrial furnaces which are used for many things, such as the extraction of metal from ore (smelting) or in oil refineries and other chemical plants, for example as the heat source for fractional distillation columns.
- The Furnace is a room in the Chozo Ruins of Metroid Prime that Samus enters when she is notified of an "energy spike" located here. She returns after scans detect an "abnormally low temperature" in the ruins.
- A hammer attack that deals a moderate amount of damage to nearby enemies. Sets weakened state, and increases your mitigation for a short time.

* Cast time : Instant
* Recast time : 30.0
* AP Cost : 34
* PBAoE: Affects up to 6 enemies in a 5 meter radius around you.
* A PBAoE attack that deals 64 physical damage. Affected targets become Weakened by 3 stacks of the Debilitated effect, which reduces all damage dealt by 3% per stack for 10 seconds. This effect can stack up to 10 times. For each target affected, you gain a single stack of the Protection effect, which increases Physical and Magical Protection by 40 per stack for 8 seconds. Protection can stack up to 5 times.
- His father was killed by his uncle in order to take the throne. As a result of this, Furnace and his brother Torcho attempted to assassinate their uncle by pouring ice over him as he watched a play, but were foiled by Finn and Jake who overheard them discussing their target and decided to intervene on their assassination. After Torcho and Furnace's plot is exposed, they are both put in a "Punishment Room."
- Furnace appears to be related to the dungeon that was, in the First Age of Darkness, known as The Hole to Hades. It is not exactly clear what happened to the city, since it was still in good condition, although many bodies were found here. The most likely explanation is that most people fled the city (explaining why everything looked as if recently vacated), and the limited fighting didn't cause any damage.

- When a bomb is placed on the tile space directly in front of the Furnace's door, the bomb is quickly pulled into the door and immediately detonated, sending an explosion out of the door. Shortly afterward, the screen will turn red and all of the Oil that is connected to the Furnace will ignite and explode. Once ignited, a Furnace will remain active for the duration of the stage, with the oil reigniting at almost 10-second intervals. An active Furnace can be identified by its open door and steam emission. Bombs placed in front of an active Furnace will not be pulled into it.
- A furnace is also needed for some Crafting purposes. With the appropriate mould and Crafting level required, players can use the furnace to craft gold bars into jewellery (e.g. rings, necklaces, bracelets, amulets) with or without gems. Players can also craft silver bars into holy symbols, tiaras, unholy symbols, or lightning rods depending on their Crafting level and the mould they have in their inventory. Furnaces can be activated in order to clear out enemies in the stage, but as they can also harm the player, caution must be taken. In some cases, it may be necessary to ignite a Furnace in order to progress through a stage. In Super Bomberman 5, when the Oil is ignited, instead of the entire Oil trail exploding at once, a flame travels quickly along the path, and the oil trail now explodes at almost 15-second intervals. The speed at which bombs are pulled into a Furnace and then detonated is now delayed, as opposed to being almost instantaneous.

- The Furnace is a room in the Chozo Ruins of Metroid Prime that Samus enters when she is notified of an "energy spike" located here. She returns after scans detect an "abnormally low temperature" in the ruins. There is a Morph Ball tunnel with two entrances, but the upper path can only be reached with the Spider Ball. The lower path leads to an Energy Tank. The upper path contains several blocks that crush under Samus's weight, forcing her to use the Boost Ball to get past them. It leads to a more open area with a generator and several Spider Ball Tracks. A Missile Expansion can be found here, but cannot be collected until Samus has Power Bombs. (Although some also handle Air conditioning, so the hottest part of the summer is probably busy for them too.) In the U.S. the purchase price usually includes the labor, parts and materials, installation, some warranty as well as the equipment.

The closest furnace to a bank is located in Edgeville (which no longer requires use of the Varrock Armour), which beats the one in Neitiznot furnace (requiring The Fremennik Isles to be completed) by one square and the Port Phasmatys furnace (requiring Priest in Peril to be completed) by three. Although, when comparing these three furnace/bank distances, there is hardly much of a difference. All of these furnaces are members only. For free players or members who do not have any of these requirements, the Al Kharid furnace is the closest to a bank if accessed from its rear-facing side. This has no requirements. If you need to use the furnace just once, then, if you're a new player with limited teleport options, you can also use the furnace in Lumbridge, which is a bit north of the teleport area.
