  • It had become an increasingly popular issue within the Lady's Delegation in the Undercity - Kalimdor was practically untouched, and it made up an entire half of the known world. The Forsaken were present, but only as squatters or ambassadors; there was no major force of neither the Deathguard or the Royal Apothecary Society. It was thus deemed necessary to rectify this, and after a short council it was decided that the Forsaken special operations group, The Spine, was to be issued in aid of the Horde on various fronts. To back them up, they were given a minor expeditionary company - 45 deathguards, 5 apothecaries and 5 Shadow Priests (approximately). While they weren't given any specific orders where to go initially, they were provided with the order of hosting a hastily erected council in Orgrimmar, in which they would decide where they would be of the most use. During this, the Spine met up with, and collaboratively decided on two locations and two objectives: 1. * The Southern Barrens deadlock had to be easened in favour of the Horde, to allow them the upper hand 2. * The Ashenvale supply lines was to be sufficiently alleviated, to better supply the existing Horde forces During the council, it was also determined that in return for the efforts of Spine as well as the Convocation of Elrendar, The Thousand Eyes would speak in favour of them before the Horde. It was thus decided; the Southern Barrens would recieve the aid of the Forsaken and Sindorei forces combined the following week and Ashenvale would be aided a week after.
