They are essentially the aerial version of the common Octotrooper and seem to occupy the role of air-to-ground fighters in the Octarian Army, supplanted by the heavier-duty Octobombers. They retain the same weaknesses of the common Octotrooper, but one must get closer to hit them, given their height in the air.
