  • Clippy (also known as Clippit) was a paper clip who was included as an Office Assistant in the 1997 version of Microsoft Office. He is a helper to the writer and says interesting things like writing a letter. He can shapeshift into objects (such as a bicycle when chosen).
  • Ugh. Many a disgruntled late 90s-2000s PC (or Mac) user knows this bugger. Clippy. We never liked ye.
  • In "Lois Kills Stewie", Stewie Griffin is interrupted by Clippy when he tries to take over the entire energy grid. After it offers to help, Stewie tells Clippy to go away and that no one likes it.
  • Clippy was created by the Ancient Geeks in 1862 to help stupid people use Microsoft Office properly. They forgot that computers had not been invented yet, so Clippy was a lowly paperclip. But in 1994, Clippy was hired by Microsoft as an intern. Bill Gates realized how annoying Clippy was, and he came up with an evil plot a few years later. All he had to do was put Clippy on Windows 95, and Clippy would be so annoying that Everybody would go and buy the next computer just to get rid of Clippy.
  • He is a paperclip that makes no appearance in the Pikmin games what so ever, and should not be on this wiki. DERP
  • Clippy, the annoying Microsoft Office assistant has a guest appearance in the Space theme. He appears in cyberspace aboard the Legacy because the ship's supercomputer steals CPU cycles from computers in the past via time travel technology. Fate worse than Death, formerly known as Death of Insanely Overpowered Fireballs, kills Clippy with his scythe for interrupting him repeatedly in an argument over Paris' death. Probably the only person who misses Clippy is Will Shakespeare.
