Resentful Eileen makes out a cheque to Jason for the wages Owen withheld and tells him not to breathe a word. Sophie rings Rosie from a phone box. She admits she's desperate to return home. Natasha drags Nick home and is about to come clean when Gail calls round. Realising that Nick is still in the dark, Gail reveals that Natasha's not pregnant. Nick's furious with his mother and tries to throw her out, but tearful Natasha is forced to admit that Gail's speaking the truth. Nick's crushed.
