As the war against the Malakh was going badly for the Uvodni, Kudlak started to work for "the Mistress", who forced him to kidnap children from Earth in order to fight on the front lines. Kudlak also duped a human, named Mark Grantham, into helping him.

As the war against the Malakh was going badly for the Uvodni, Kudlak started to work for "the Mistress", who forced him to kidnap children from Earth in order to fight on the front lines. Kudlak also duped a human, named Mark Grantham, into helping him. Kudlak and Grantham created a new laser-tag game named Combat 3000. Those children who managed to get through to Level 2 in the game were selected as the best, and transported to an Uvodni ship. After realising, however, that his Mistress had been lying to him, and that the war had been over for ten years, Kudlak killed the Mistress, and returned the children to their families. Kudlak had always wanted peace, and was an honourable warrior. He saw the error of his ways and asked Sarah Jane Smith to kill him for his crimes, but she refused, and allowed Kudlak to go on his way. Kudlak decided to dedicate himself to finding the rest of the children he had kidnapped from Earth and from other planets and returning them home. (TV: Warriors of Kudlak) In late 2010, General Kudlak was part of the army of alien slaves led by the Krulius that attacked Sarah Jane's house. Clyde levitated him using a Nadloon anti-gravity ray. After Clyde defeated several of the other aliens, Kudlak regrouped with the army and the Krulius ordered them to retreat. Sarah Jane thought that the aliens were under some kind of hypnotic control, otherwise they wouldn't be siding with the Krulius. (WC: Defending Bannerman Road)

Jedoch wurde der Krieg mit den Malakh bereits im Jahr 1998 beendet, kurz nach seiner Abreise. Sein Board Computer Mistress hat ihm diese Information verschwiegen, da dieser nicht auf Frieden programiert ist. Erst durch Luke Smith erfährt Kudlak von dem Frieden. Wütend zerstört er den Computer. Er möchte seine Taten wieder gut machen. Daher verspricht er alle rekrutierten Kinder zu suchen um diese wieder auf die Erde zu bringen.
