It was a LIVE! streamed video show with a chat room for talking to the hosts, and a podcast version that was available shortly after the end of the show. The first episode aired June 27th, 2009 and there has been a show every Saturday morning until it ended on august 28th 2010. String Burn LIVE! was scheduled to be LIVE! at 11:00 a.m. central time but generally starts some time after that due to the hosts trying to get everything together for the show. During the show the hosts discuss the different news items in the yo-yo community, have a trick tutorial by a professional yo-yoer, review a yo-yo, and give that yo-yo away through a yo-yo related trivia question.
