| Synopsis | - This book opens in an arctic base, where a group of scientists are finding that one of their experiments, a creature trapped in ice, has escaped. The group agree that capture is no longer an option and that they should kill it with a flamethrower.
We then jump to a small town outside of Paris where Alicia Masters and Invisible woman are having tea. They're having some girl talk while Invisible Woman airs out her complaints regarding Mr. Fantastic not paying her or Franklin enough attention.
Later, back in the Baxter Building, the whole team share the same nightmare. Rattled, Invisible Woman goes to Alicia's flat to talk to her . Alicia reveals that she too had a nightmare and was compelled to build a statue of The Psychoman, a longstanding FF villain with the power to control people's thoughts and emotions.
Meanwhile, on a job site, the Thing and his co-workers are attacked by an underground monster. Thing beats it up for a while when he gets a cellphone call. It's the rest of the FF coordinating a plan to deal with all of the chaos around the city. Turns out the construction site attack was just one thing going on. The city is in a panic, and the sun has disappeared...
