ShortSummary
  • Himari and the others head outdoors for art class, where Yuto is attacked a second time by the Hinoenma Ageha and Rinko gets a surprise visit from the ippon-datara Sasa. According to Ageha, someone is picking off Japan's Ayakashi, and a man named Kaburagi from Public Safety's Section Four joins them with the intention of recruiting Yuto.
  • Himari's spirits sink after she allows Yuto to come to harm, while Yuto begins to feels guilty about Himari throwing herself in harm's way for his sake. Determined to awaken his Demon Slayer powers and fight for himself, Yuto asks Shizuku to help him train. However, when Liz and Rinko arrive, the lucky Yuto finds himself in the middle of a harem of eager women.
  • Yuto and his friends are surprised to discover the extent of Kuesu's magical ability in their investigation of her, as it turns out that the Jinguji Family built their power as a Demon Slayer family on the study of Western magic. Himari and Kuesu butt heads as the two women who have kissed Yuto, and when Kuesu claims that Yuto belongs with her, Himari decides to settle their conflict once and for all.
  • Himari fulfills her enemies' wishes and gives herself over completely to the darkness inside her, and Yuto can do nothing but look on as powerful demons clash in the forest of Noihara in Himari's final battle against the nine-tailed fox and Shuten-dōji.
  • While Himari is an excellent fighter, she feels that she is rather unfeminine after she witnesses Shizuku's housekeeping and cooking skills. With Kisaragi's help, she finds work at Café Relish—a popular maid café. Following senior waitress and tea lover Lizlet's advice, Himari gains enormous popularity as an actual cat-eared maid. However, something inhuman is present in the café as well.
  • In an attempt to make Yuto recall the lost memories of his childhood, Himari takes Yuto to their hometown of Noihara, but the trip gets out of hand when Rinko and Shizuku decide to tag along. Yuto and the others are met by the zashiki-warashi Kaya and are just getting settled in at Yuto's deceased grandparents' home when they are attacked by a group of Ayakashi. And when Yuto himself is harmed during their attack, Himari's demonic side emerges for the first time.
  • To welcome Himari to their class, the Class Rep and Taizo plan a class trip to the beach. Himari toys with Yuto, making him choose swimsuits and summer clothes for her. However, once at the beach, Himari's fear of water comes to light and an Ayakashi who manipulates water named Shizuku takes advantage of her phobia and attacks, putting her in grave danger.
  • Yuto begins practicing with Himari and the others to master his Light Ferry ability when Shuten-dōji and Tama put up a barrier around the city and attack. After she sees Yuto in danger, Himari flies into a rage, but Yuto is able to bring her back to her senses. The gang then retreats to Noihara to find a way to bring out Yuto's Light Ferry powers, and when Himari takes a walk through the forest, she is attacked by Shuten-dōji and Tama.
  • Shuten-dōji and Tama are trying to eradicate Japan's Ayakashi to regain their full strength, and various Ayakashi begin rallying around Yuto and Himari in an attempt to defeat them. In the midst of this emergency, Himari mourns the loss of Yasutsuna, the sword she lost in her fight against Kuesu, and for the first time, Yuto finds the will to stand and fight for his beliefs of coexistience.
  • Himari and Kuesu finally clash, but when Kuesu's magic bullet grazes Himari, her demonic nature nearly overcomes her. After nursing the injured Himari back to health, Yuto heads to Kuesu's hotel to make his feelings clear, where Kuesu reminds the forgetful Yuto of their past together.
  • The mysterious Kuesu Jinguji appears before Yuto and Himari wielding powerful magic. Like Yuto, she is also a Demon Slayer and Himari becomes agitated when Kuesu forces herself on Yuto and kisses him. Meanwhile, Shizuku decides that Kuesu must be killed and sets out in search of her.
