| abstract | - A dipolopod was an insect-like creature that could be used as a beast of burden. Dipolopods had hard green plates, eyeless heads, clawed legs and wicked-looking stingers. They could be ridden with the use of a saddle, but often needed prodding using an electro-prod. They enjoyed eating rotten meat. The Arkanis Academy kept a number of these creatures.
