  • A chain Guardian ÄRM that creates a giant whale to attack his foes. Those who are swallowed, save for the cursed Poko, ultimately die and are dissolved down to the bones thanks to its slimy digestive juices. Used by Pinocchio. Fastitocalon 2.png|Fastitocalon's chain
  • The Fastitocalon was a giant or perhaps mythical beast, and was the last of the great Turtle-fish in Middle-earth. The Fastitocalon was called in the Hobbitish poem of the same name. Fastitocalon is described to have been mistaken many times for an island by many sailors, who were soon drowned when he submerged into the sea. The story of this beast is said by some to be an allegory for the destruction of Numenor.[citation needed]
  • Fastitocalon is an enemy from Final Fantasy VIII. In the Japanese version, it is known as Focalor. It first appears as a fin sticking out of the ground, much like Fastitocalon-F. The only way to tell the difference between the two once the battle starts is that this monster has a much deeper and more distinct cry than its counterparts.
