The Mind Guardian can be a very problematic monster if the player isn't good at guarding, so it's advised to go in well stocked in items. Its attacks are a simple physical attack that hits a character three times; Unchained Bolt, which hits all party members twice and inflicts the Pain status; Summon Lightning; which hits all party members four times and causes Stun; Shackling Light, which hits all party members twice; and finally, the most annoying of its skills: Mind Sleep, which reduces the Burst Gauge to 0% and nullifies all evolutions the current Song Magic has undergone. While it's possible to use Song Magic against it, the player should keep on mind that it isn't reliable at all due to Mind Sleep, as its an attack against which there is no possible defense and that will throw to waste all their efforts in charging Song Magic and evolving it, so it would be a good idea to let it charge for a bit to then release it, particularly for the best Songs each Reyvateil has at this point, which are Thorn Princess and Pepen. Replekia could also be used, but given the problems caused by Mind Sleep, it isn't really advisable. This boss is identical to the Mind Guardian (Cloche) boss, the only differences between being the route in which they appear and their respective sprites.
