Goodman learned under the instruction of Alfred Friese, whom he succeeded as principal timpanist in the New York Philharmonic. He also was a member of the faculty at the Juilliard School of Music where he taught many who went on to become timpanists in symphony orchestras around the world. However, when he put up a billboard with "Better Call Saul", he got thousands of single mothers looking to up the alimony of their husbands. Soon later, he became the lawyer for Jesse and Walter and their meth endeavors. He used money laundering, framing, and even murder to get off the hook. Eventually, things went too far when a "harmless" discussion between rivals turned into a battle that got his bodyguards killed. He then resided in New Hampshire getting a ration of food and blue meth every month. He returned to New Mexico after the death of Walter White. He then started a Reality-TV show called "Better Call Saul" where he helps criminals stay out of prison.
