Once the user is inside the desired body they must be able to dominate the will of the original host in order to take possession. If successful, the mind and spirit of the body taken over will be completely destroyed, leaving the user as the new host. This technique can be used in others ways as well such as transferring one's soul into a genetic clone with no mind or a souless body, which makes the domination process effortlessly easy. Kintoki's original apprentice Urameshi Hatake who was taught this technique also discovered a different way to use this technique, without having his original body destroyed. Urameshi found that he could imprint parts of his soul into inanimate objects to create a powerful link between him and the object, in which in his case is three of his cigarettes that never burn out. By imprinting his soul into his cigarettes he is unable to die as long as his cigarettes aren't destroyed by removing the slivers of his soul that resides in them. This prevents his body from being completely destroyed, and keeps him from aging.
