| abstract | - Mr Scratchings was one of the Sky Pirates under the employ of Captain Plunder. Scratchings is a tough pig and became one of Plunder's most loyal pirates, staying with him ever since the business with the Tantaror. Although a fierce customer when intimidating others to join the crew, Scratchings is just as cowardly as the rest of us when faced with super-powered sharks or the Spice Maidens. Mr Scratchings was named by Plunder when the pig considered not fighting the sharks on their ship, Plunder remarking that he considered this act to be "mutiny". Following this, he no longer appears to be part of the crew following their return in Sonic the Comic Online.
