He split the 1971-72 NHL season between the St. Louis Blues and the Philadelphia Flyers. The next season he jumped to the Quebec Nordiques of the WHA. He played in the WHA until the league folded in 1979, also playing for the Indianapolis Racers and the Cincinnati Stingers. Parizeau retired in 1979.
