In an alternate timeline where the Cardassians did not withdraw from Bajor, J'rak was serving as commanding officer of No'Var Outpost, along the Klingon-Romulan border, by 2373. In this year, J'rak successfully commanded the outpost as it fought off an attack by a Romulan warbird.
