  • Keith Ian Giffen (born November 30, 1952[1]) is an American comic book illustrator and writer. He wrote the English adaptation of the Battle Royale manga.
  • Giffen broke into the industry in the mid-1970s, and worked primarily for Marvel Comics until the early 1980s when he moved to DC Comics to drawing for Legion of Super-Heroes. This soon led to writing the series.
