(ST novel: Articles of the Federation) Carrea was a non-Federation member as of 2380. (ST novel: Articles of the Federation) Doors Into Chaos refers to both the planet and race as "Carreon," while Articles uses the name "Carrea".

  • Carrea (also called Carreon) was a planet. It had two moons, plus a loose ring of asteroids circling the planet. It was located not far from Delta IV, with only four star systems between them. (Star Trek: Gateways novel: Doors Into Chaos) A number of animal fossils from Carrea's Oida age apparently matched the animal life on another nearby planet, Brannik IV. (ST novel: Articles of the Federation) In 2376, an Iconian gateway opened in Carrea's asteroid belt, which lead directly to one particularly rich world which the Carreon and Deltans had both desired. Another gateway had opened near Delta IV, allowing them equal access to the unnamed planet. A shooting war was avoided by the presence of the USS Enterprise. (Star Trek: Gateways novel: Doors Into Chaos) Carrea was a non-Federation member as of 2380. (ST novel: Articles of the Federation) Doors Into Chaos refers to both the planet and race as "Carreon," while Articles uses the name "Carrea".
