Sam later visits Rachel and is awkward as he says he wishes he'd sent her the card, not Samson. They share a kiss before he leaves, and Rachel is thrilled. Elsewhere, Gennie and Nikhil apologise to Brenda but she remains concerned as she privately pulls out a medical encyclopedia and is worried by what she reads, while Chas agrees to give Thomas a job at the pub.
