Subsequent credits include roles in Stanton Blues, City Central, Emmerdale, Where the Heart Is, Heartbeat, Clocking Off, The Bill, Holby City, Waterloo Road, Shameless, The Mill and Staff Room.

In the August 2011 issue of Attitude Magazine, Ciarán takes his top off and appears sporting a red boxing kit. Photos from the shoot were also taken at Cloud 23 Bar in Hilton Hotel, Manchester. He has done a couple of adverts, including the BT vision advert where he is featured having his hair washed.
