  • Ciaran Griffiths (born 3rd March 1983 in Manchester) appeared on Coronation Street in October 2000 as Dean Sykes, the younger brother of Linda Baldwin. Following an unsuccessful armed robbery attempt at Freshco's supermarket alongside accomplice Lenny Larkin, he was fatally shot by police markswoman Emma Taylor.

In 2007, he starred alongside Conrad Westmaas in the short film, The Visitor. He also appeared as Psycho in the film Theres Only One Jimmy Grimble. Ciarán attended St. Mary's RC High School in Astley near Leigh between 1994 and 1999. It was during this time that he starred in Children's Ward at the age of thirteen. He also starred in the British vampire film Dead Cert which was directed by Steven Lawson.

Subsequent credits include roles in Stanton Blues, City Central, Emmerdale, Where the Heart Is, Heartbeat, Clocking Off, The Bill, Holby City, Waterloo Road, Shameless, The Mill and Staff Room.

He has done a couple of adverts, including the BT vision advert where he is featured having his hair washed.
