Then they set off obstacles on purpose or lure other enemies torwards the captain and squad of Pikmin. They do not eat Pikmin but do squish White Pikmin only because White Pikmin are so small. If a Crimson Skyhopper tries to squash a Purple Pikmin, they instantly die. All of the rest of the colors they don't even try to squash.
